RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION

SYMBOL MEANING

• WEAR EYE AND HEARING PROTECTION

WARNING:

Thrown objects and loud noise can cause severe eye injury and hearing loss.

Wear eye protection meeting ANSI Z87.1 standards and ear protection when

operating this unit.

• KEEP BYSTANDERS AWAY

WARNING:

Keep all bystanders, especially children and pets, at least 50 feet (15 m)

from the operating area.

• THROWN OBJECTS AND RECIPROCATING BLADE CAN CAUSE SEVERE INJURY

WARNING:

Inspect the unit before use. Do not operate unit with a bent, cracked or dull

blade. Keep away from the blade.

•SHARP BLADE

WARNING:

Sharp blade, do not touch. To prevent serious injury, always wear gloves when

changing or handling the blade.

•WEAR HEAD PROTECTION

WARNING:

Falling objects can cause severe head injury. Wear head protection when

operating this unit.

•BOOM EXTENSIONS
